AFROWAVES SUNSET: Afrobeats & Amapiano Boat Party Cruise NYC takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Pier 78 at Hudson River Park, 455 12th Avenue, New York, NY 10018. Hosted by iBoatNYC, the event is a 21+ cruise party with boarding at 5:00 PM, departure at 5:45 PM, return at 8:30 PM, and an end time of 9:00 PM.
The cruise includes a 3-hour trip on the NYC harbor with views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, the Freedom Tower, and more. The boat features an open-air deck, climate-controlled cabins, and three levels of music, including one outdoor floor and two indoor floors.
Live DJs play Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Latin music, Reggaeton, Pop, Top 40, Oldies, and more on the other floors. Waitress service is available, drinks can be ordered directly to the table, and food is available for purchase. VIP bottle service and sections are available, and the VIP ticket includes express line entry and access to a VIP area only if one is designated on the cruise.
Rain or shine, the event requires a physical ID for entry. The dress code is dress to impress, with no hats, Tims/boots, joggers, sweats, or basketball shorts. Free street parking is available around the pier, and nearby parking garages average $40 per vehicle.
