AfroWaves NYC: Afrobeats & Amapiano Sunset Party on the Pier [ Open - Air ] takes place on Sunday, May 9, 2027, at Watermark, located at 78 South Street on Pier 15 in New York, NY. Doors are scheduled from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

The open-air pier event features Afrobeats and Amapiano. Attendance is limited to guests ages 21 and over, and a physical ID is required for entry. VIP bottle service is available.

Guests are encouraged to dress stylishly while following the stated entry guidelines. Clothing with offensive language, athletic shorts, slides, swim trunks, sweatpants, Timberlands, sandals, and flip-flops are not permitted. Jeans without excessive rips, collared shirts, stylish T-shirts, dress shoes, clean sneakers, intentional baggy styles, and forward-facing hats that complement an outfit are permitted. Team jerseys are permitted only during major sports events and Independence Day celebrations.
