About This Event
AfroWaves: Afrobeats & Amapiano Boat Party Concert Cruise NYC is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2027, at 10:00 PM, departing from Pier 78 at Hudson River Park, 455 12th Avenue, New York, NY 10018. The cruise is planned as a three-hour trip through New York Harbor, with views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, and the Freedom Tower.
The yacht has three music levels: an outdoor music floor, two indoor music floors, an open-air deck, and climate-controlled cabins. DJs play hip hop and R&B, reggae, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Latin music, reggaeton, pop, Top 40, oldies, and more across the different floors. The event operates rain or shine, with two indoor dance floors and indoor seating areas available.

- VIP tickets include express-line entry and access to a VIP area only when a VIP area is designated for that cruise.
- Balloons and cakes are permitted for celebrations; other outside food is not allowed.
- Guests must be 21 or older and present a physical ID; photos of IDs are not accepted.
- Dress code: dress to impress. Hats, Tims/boots, joggers, sweats, and basketball shorts are not permitted.
- Street parking may be available around the pier. Nearby pier parking garages average approximately $40 per vehicle.
