AfroWaves: Afrobeats & Amapiano Boat Party Concert Cruise NYC takes place at Pier 78 at Hudson River Park, 455 12th Avenue, New York, NY 10018, on Friday, July 3, 2026 at 10:00 PM. Presented by iBoatNYC, the event features a scenic 3-hour cruise of the NYC harbor with views of the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge, Ellis Island, and the Freedom Tower.
The cruise includes an open-air deck, climate-controlled cabins, and three levels of music, with an outdoor floor and two indoor floors. Live DJs are scheduled to play Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Latin music, Reggaeton, Pop, Top 40, Oldies, and more. Waitress service is available, and drinks can be ordered directly to your table. Food is available for purchase.
VIP bottle service and sections are available, with reservations handled by Allan at (646) 263-4593 or rsvp@iboatnyc.com. Boarding is at 10:00 PM, departure is at 10:45 PM, return is at 1:30 AM, and the event ends at 2:00 AM. The cruise is rain or shine and is for ages 21 and over with a physical ID. Dress code restrictions include no hats, no Tims/boots, no joggers, no sweats, and no basketball shorts.
- Parking: Free street parking is available around the pier. Parking garages near the pier average $40 per vehicle.
- Permitted items: Balloons and cakes are allowed; no other outside food is permitted.
