About This Event
AFROVERSE LIVE - AFROBEAT SUNDAYS takes place Sunday, October 11 at 5:00 PM at Massey Shots Bar & Grill, 8908 Ohio Drive, #104, Plano, TX 75024. Hosted by Baba Kuboye, this monthly live music residency features Afrobeat alongside Latin music, Indian music, jazz, hip-hop, R&B, rap, highlife, reggae, and soul.
The program includes live performances by Baba Kuboye, emerging and established artists, curated DJ sets, and special guest appearances. The residency has featured guest artists including Billboard-charting and Grammy-winning performers.
Each edition includes Baba Kuboye’s Monthly Music Premiere, in which he performs and introduces a new original song before its official release. This all-ages event is held once each month.
