About This Event
Afro - Brazilian Drumming Class is an 8-week drumming class in Calgary starting September 19 at 1:00 PM, with each session running for 2 hours and 30 minutes. The class takes place at 2600 Portland Street Southeast at the Dance Studio.
Led by an instructor with more than 20 years of experience in the music industry, the class teaches Afro-Brazilian drums and rhythms in a structured, beginner-friendly format. It is open to people with no prior experience as well as those who already play music.
Drums are provided, and the class is open to everyone. Registration is required, and spaces are limited. The course is presented in Calgary as part of Samba Swing’s Afro-Brazilian drumming classes.
