About This Event
Join us for Africa Night at Sahara Lounge, a weekly Saturday night event that has been a staple since 2011. This vibrant gathering features two house bands: Zoumountchi and Sahara Allstars. The bands showcase an array of talented musicians, including West Africans Ibrahim Aminou (kora, guitar, and vocals), Alseny and Abou Sylla (percussion), Aicha Wambaya and Diante Moses (vocals), complemented by strong horn and rhythm sections.
In addition to the house bands, rotating guest bands bring local and touring Afrobeat, Afropop, Reggae, and Latin music to the stage, ensuring a diverse musical experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a diverse crowd and a relaxed vibe. Enjoy a free buffet until it runs out, delicious custom cocktails (including non-alcoholic options), and a spacious backyard patio perfect for conversations.
