Mia Samone began her musical journey at just 3 years old, singing gospel alongside her mother in The Determinetts. A graduate of the renowned Baltimore School for the Arts and mentored by the late Nathan Carter, Mia has traveled extensively, captivating audiences across the globe including the DMV area, California, Japan, China, Germany, France, and more. Her soulful voice ranges from angelic falsetto to powerful, warm mezzo, making each performance truly unique.
As a talented songwriter and arranger, Mia's work has been featured on BET shows such as “Being Mary Jane” and “American Soul”, as well as in movies like “Monsters, Inc.” and “Ray”. She currently leads the nationally recorded band PRS Eightlock and fronts the wedding and party band Rollex. Music is her life—her joy, her peace—and she aims to inspire and uplift every audience she touches.
