About This Event
90'S RAGGA & 00's DANCEHALL BRUNCH takes place at Cottons Shoreditch, 45–47 Hoxton Square, London, N1 6PD, on Saturday, November 28, 2026. The programme includes 1990s and 2000s ragga and dancehall music, a one-hour bottomless drinks session, a two-course Caribbean-inspired meal, themed games, and dance contests.
- 1:00pm–2:00pm: One hour of bottomless rum punch and additional drinks.
- 2:00pm–3:00pm: Two-course meal service.
- Music: A resident DJ playing dancehall and ragga selections from the 1990s and 2000s, including music associated with Buju Banton, Sean Paul, Beenie Man, Shaggy, Mr. Vegas, Lady Saw, and Vybz Kartel.
The meat dish is jerk chicken with rice and peas, coleslaw, and a fried dumpling. Vegetarian and vegan options include vegetable fritters with spicy mango chutney, chilli jam, and mixed leaves, followed by chana dhal with steamed rice and a fried dumpling.
The event includes themed games, a best-dressed contest for 1990s and 2000s ragga-inspired outfits, and dance contests featuring styles such as the Butterfly, Bogle, and Dutty Wine. Prizes are included for contest winners. This event is for guests aged 18 and over.
