3rd Friday Reggae w/ Junior Toots and Psydecar takes place at Swabbies Restaurant & Bar in Sacramento on Friday, August 21, 2026 at 6:00 PM. The event is organized by Swabbies on the River and features performances by Junior Toots and Psydecar, with DJ/host duties by Stay Positive Sound.
Junior Toots is the son of Toots Hibbert of Toots & The Maytals. Born and raised in St. Mary, Jamaica, he began singing on stage at a young age and toured internationally with his father. He has spent the last twenty years as a reggae artist performing on stages around the world.
Psydecar is a San Diego-based reggae, soul, and groove band that has been making original music for more than three decades. Founded in 1996 by lead vocalist and drummer Tim Pacheco, the band now performs as a dual-fronted lineup with Pacheco and keyboardist Trevy James sharing vocal duties.
