LOCs Ital Reggae Festival -April 26 2027( Levels of Consciousness ) takes place at Ferdi Neita Sports Complex, 13 Zinnia Close, Portmore, St. Catherine Parish, Jamaica, on Sunday, April 26, 2027, at 5:00 AM.
This one-day open-air festival is an annual cultural celebration dedicated to reggae music, Rastafari culture, and Ital living. The program includes live music performances with an all-Rasta lineup featuring legendary names and rising conscious artists across roots reggae, dub, Nyabinghi, and Afro-reggae blends.
Other parts of the event include The Evolution of Reggae Tour, which traces reggae from ska and rocksteady to modern-day reggae, along with stories of artists such as Bob Marley, Peter Tosh, and Burning Spear. The festival also features a Rasta Culture Showcase with traditional and modern Rasta fashion, live hair-locking and headwrap demonstrations, and an Ital Culinary Village serving vegan Rasta dishes, natural juices, herbs, and more.
The program closes with a bonfire drumming session featuring Nyabinghi drumming, chanting, and reasoning.
