Tramaine Long — Rhythm & Gospel, built in the church At five years old, Tramaine Long was standing on church pews trying to reach the choir mic. Raised by his mother alongside two sisters, his world was faith, family, and music—and it shows. Inspired by John P. Kee, 2Pac, Jagged Edge, Musiq Soulchild, and Tank, he knew by fourteen that music was the calling. At seventeen he bought his first mic, opened FL Studio (back in 2004), and never looked back. Craft met business when he graduated from Full Sail University in 2022 with a B.S. in Entertainment Business—fuel for a career that blends art, strategy, and service. As a producer, Tramaine broke through in 2019 with “Kick Back” (Free Life Boyz) and “Be More Good” (Teiona “TP9” Gunn), both landing on Canton Jones’ Kingdom Business 5. His official debut followed on Valentine’s Day 2020: RNG: A Love Story—the birth of his own lane, RNG (Rhythm & Gospel), where Sunday soul meets Friday night knock.
