I'm THERAPIZT ZAY, an independent artist from Lubbock, Texas. I didn't get into music because it was popular—I got into it because I needed an outlet. Music became my therapy when life hit me the hardest. Every song I write comes from something I've actually lived through: pain, betrayal, struggle, love, loss, faith, and finding the strength to keep pushing when it felt like everything was against me. My sound is a mix of raw emotion, Southern grit, and real storytelling. I love packing my lyrics with wordplay, metaphors, and lines that make people want to run the song back because they caught something new. Whether I'm making gangsta rap, melodic records, or R&B, I always want my music to be authentic. I don't rap about a character—I rap about life, growth, and the lessons I've learned along the way. The name THERAPIZT ZAY means a lot to me because I believe music can heal. If one of my songs helps somebody get through a hard day, feel understood, or keep going when they wanted to quit, then I know I'm doing what I was meant to do. I'm here to make timeless music that people can feel, not just hear.
