St Clair Du-Berry — better known as Saint Dub — is an Atlanta-raised rapper, singer and producer who threads church pews, TV sets and street reality into one cinematic voice. Born in Morrow, Georgia to pastor parents, he first found his footing as the “loudest voice in the choir”, learning harmony, dynamics and performance under stained-glass light. A move to Orlando led him into musical theatre, landing the role of the Wizard in The Wiz at 12 and lighting the spark for life on stage. That spark took him to Los Angeles, where he trained for film and TV, auditioned for Disney and Nickelodeon, worked as a stand-in/photo double on Earth to Echo, and appeared on Disney XD’s TRY-athlon alongside NBA All-Star Kevin Love. Behind the scenes, grief reshaped him: he lost his father as a teen and his mother in 2022, experiences that echo through his records. On projects like The Glitch (featuring the deeply personal “Vitamin B12”) and his new 20-track album Sermons, Saint Dub blends soulful sampling, experimental production and lyricism steeped in faith, doubt, love and loss. Influenced by Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Pharrell and Kid Cudi, he aims less to glorify clichés and more to offer perspective — rap that wrestles with life and still reaches for the divine.
