Thabo Makalima, who now goes by the name RIZZ SA, has been in the music game professionally since 2005, and has worked with the likes of hot-on-the-scene rapper and founder of Ambitious Entertainment, EMTEE, and FEEZY from Native Rhythms. The Midrand based resident who was born in Gauteng, grew up in Soweto(Senaoane) and discovered his passion. He pursued music at the age of 18, and kicked off his career at the University of Johannesburg. He started participating in the hip-hop battle sessions (in SOWETO) also visiting other townships and cities around SA, following which a number of great things Happened to start his career in music. That period “around 2006, he met all the right people (within the music industry, and he got to work with a lot of controversial mainstream artists like PROKID,” RIZZ said. He later he met EMTEE (from Ambitious Records); and they created up loads of hit tracks, one of the popular singles being no lie featuring EMTEE WHICH IS SET FOR RE-RELEASE 2025 AGAIN.
