We are two old friends who played together in our youth, then went our separate ways. I stayed in Sicily; he (sax) moved to Milan to work as a professional musician, accompanying well-known Italian entertainers. Meanwhile, I gave up drumming and bought a PC in 1998, diving into electronic music. Today I'm a producer and composer, handling mix and mastering in my tiny home studio—I call it "The Hole." Our music blends our past acoustic roots with my electronic background. The rhythmic core comes from our proximity to Africa, flavored with funk, jazz, hip-hop, pop, and more. The project started three years ago when I had the idea for a new musical venture. Sax was back in Sicily for work (he now teaches music in state schools), so I brought him on board. After some early attempts that didn't quite click, we're now finally happy with our sound. I produce the tracks—though I still feel I haven't fully reached what I'm aiming for. With our new 2027 production, starting in October after the summer, I plan to focus more on sound and rhythmic exploration. We'll see.
