Formed in 2005 in Kaduna South, Nigeria, 85 Skwad's love affair with rap music began with a deep appreciation for the culture of hip-hop. The group's early days were marked by a passion for lyrical storytelling, socially aware themes, and the raw energy of hip-hop. This foundation has remained a driving force behind their music. 85 Skwad was founded by two visionary artists: - Wayne Dogo, aka Bobbywayne (previously known as Lordstifaz) - Godwin Duniyo Bitiyong, aka Gdocmedic These two creative forces shared a common vision: to create music that inspires, educates, and uplifts.
